The invasion in Ukraine has disrupted much of Eastern Europe and has broken our ability to communicate freely with our partners in Belarus. Meanwhile, millions of refugees are fleeing the war in the greatest humanitarian crises the world has seen in decades. At ABRO (American Belarussian Relief Organization) we realize it will be impossible in the foreseeable future to bring children from Belarus to America to detoxify and heal as we have in the past. We are reevaluating how to best reach the most hurting.
For the present time, we have partnered with two organizations where 100 percent of donations go to help Ukrainian refugees.

It is our hope, in a more peaceful world, we will return to helping children of Belarus. Until that day comes, we are focusing our efforts by helping those within our reach. The coming months will reveal how we will evolve to play a more active role in touching the lives of refugees escaping Ukraine.
